two step sparring can be requested at any level. maybe some TKD clubs have predefined step sparring for each level but at the last seminary we've been told that we should be able to do step sparring with the techniques corresponding to our degrees for example a red belt should be able use the techniques from Hwa-Rang tul in addition to the previously learned ones.
