This is one of the most successful super villains of all time, at least in the history of movies.

He killed more innocent humans than any other villain in any super hero/villain movie I've ever seen.

Next closest is maybe Green Goblin in the first Spiderman movie.

In fact, Azazel does almost all of the actual killing, maiming and other dirty work you see in the movie.

@MoriKitsune Azazel doesn't Bamf Sword Fight like Nightcrawler, and is a dick who goes around impregnating women on purpose and leaving with the intention to never see them again. Nightcrawler also died to save the Mutant Messiah.
