Well, I couldn't resist. I've seen some "Friday" piano cover vids that were really outstanding (along with the hilarious parodies, of course) and it got me thinking.
British media personality Charlie Brooker said that it might be the first song in music history with less than one note. (BTW, if you're looking for his segment about the popularity of "Friday" it's on part 4 of episode 10 of 10 O'clock Live.) I think the appeal of playing a song like this is trying to do something musically interesting with it. I hope I've done that, and I hope you dig.
