Civilization Revolution Great People Trick by TheMystic

This should save you a ton of time when it comes to getting the "here's looking at you kid" achievement in Civilization : Revolution. I was fed up after two days of trying to get them normally, and came up with this method. After starting this method, I was able to get my last two within fifteen minutes or so.

If you don't get the great people you need the first time, just recreate it over and over. Eventually they'll show up, and it's much faster than normal methods. :)

@esioog Just tried what you said and I got my last Great Person right away. Thank you so much btw my last person was Homer. Would recommend this way of doing for the ancient Great People.

Easier way to get some ancient great people is to start new game with french (they start with cathedral) and to research nothing. After you get 4 or 5 GP its better to restart. I was able to get all GP I was missing, including Gilgamesh, Plato and Homer, in about 30 minutes.

Protip for getting homer: Start a new game playing as the french as they start with a cathedral. Switch your production to science. Research alphabet. Switch production to building, don't research anything else, Make stonehenge. As your culture fills, the game will have very few great people to give you as you have so few techs researched. It may take a few tries to get homer but it took me no more then 10 minutes. If you don't have him after 3 great people restart.

@blacksheeptrp8 maybe make sure you are getting money the whole game instead of sciece? or the other way around. either something your doing or its different for everyone cuz i got him my first or second try.
