10 Things I Hate About You -Poem -Leyton

This is a little different, basically what I did was take the poem from 10 Things I Hate About you and Leytonized it. Also, someone asked me to share my thoughts on last night's epie, so prepare for another long optimistic description ;)

Considering last night I think this poem speaks volumes as to where Lucas's head/heart are at when he said that statement. I really think this is coming from Lucas wishing he hated Peyton bc its easier, but he can't hate her, and that's really what he hates, he hates that he doesn't hate her.

Although my first response was; I can't belive he could possible say those words to her-this isn't the Lucas we've come to know & love, he would never say such a thing to P!-& that's a totally valid response bc its heartbreaking having to see them go through this. However, I do not think its ultimately harmful to the couple. Not at all. In fact, I think that this is one of the more positive signs we've seen in the last several epies. Why do I say that? Bc hate isn't the opposite of love, not at all. The opposite to love is indifference. Hate is much to strong to be indifferent. Hate is strong. Hate is passionate. Hate takes time and energy. Hate takes lots of emotional investment. Now, I do not truly believe he hates her, he may think he hates her, but I really don't believe that he does & that we will see that in the future. But just the fact that he may have thought/think he does shows him putting a lot of emotion towards P. He's confused, he's conflicted, he's scared, and all that intense emotion he's been holding in his heart for years since they've been apart-especially since she's come back-has been starting to boil up over the surface, slowly showing itself, & he doesn't know what to do w/it. So at the moment he's turned that intense emotion into "hating" bc he doesn't want to deal w/the reality of it any other way. But he will have to someday, & I think that day is drawer near. Although its been a tough season for LPers to sit through I think its been a very important one also. L has been hard to take lately, but all of it has taken us to this "I hate you" & as hard as it is to watch I think that they needed to go this far w/Lucas & make him this dark. That was the point. Taking him this far shows that without a doubt their love is true. Bc no matter how far he goes from the man both we & P once knew, ultimately he still loves her, & she still loves him. This is where P's admittance of being in love w/both the idea of Lucas & the reality come into play, bc Lucas isn't the same man we've known in the past, she's still in love w/the Lucas from the past-the one we all miss & love as well, but she doesn't just love the memory of his old self, no, she also loves the man standing before her in the present. Some may think that her continuing to love him after everything is weak, pathetic, or desperate, I however, think that it is an amazing representation of patience, grace, & love at its purest. They both rise above it all through their love. Their feelings aren't just about who they are at that given moment, but rather about the more steady & lasting nature of their hearts & the love they share between them. This season has shown us that even if they alter as individuals, their love for each other will not alter, & it will stay steadfast (even if one of them has it beneath the surface at the moment). I believe in these two so much. I believe they will end it together, "I feel it in my heart". ;)

OMG!!!!! I know it sounds stupid but you REALLY made my cry!!! I have always been a Leyton fan and I knew their love had no limit, but what I've seen in this video made me realise that they are SOOOOOO in love and they are SOOOO meant to be that NOTHING can separate them because TRUE LOVE cannot be destroyed. I think is the strongest feeling, it's stronger than hate, than sadness... LEYTON IS LOVE!!!

Oh My Gaaawdddd....i cant believe i'm so late to this video! It's SO SO good and it just fits them perfectly! Even if this video is crap, it's still worth favouriting because of what you wrote in the description. I dont cry watching fan made videos, but the "even worse when you made me cry" part made me feel all prickly at the back of my eyes.Damn you!
