Beczala has a voice of great beauty and power.He is also a good actor.I think he is a thoughrouly excellent opera tenor,perhaps the best at this moment !!!

A tendencia natural é que ele assuma o repertorio lirico-spinto dentro de pouco tempo!

Watch the tapes of Gigili, Bjoerling, Bergonzi- then watch the master's class of LP trying to teach young tenor how NOT to open the mouth in this same aria. PB is not a bad tenor, the technique is just flawed. He is "singing to the gallery". Oh well, that is how one must sing to today's opera audience. I like some of his stuff on YT.

@Lovelytenor1 Corelli opens a huge mouth in the acuti. Pavarotti's not completely right. What works for him doesn't neccesarily work for others.
