Carter Returns From Damascus With News Of Gilad Schalit

IDF soldier Gilad Schalit is in good condition, and will be allowed to send another letter to his family in the near future, Damascus-based Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal told former US President Jimmy Carter during their meeting late Sunday night. On Monday morning the former US President met with Shas head Eli Yishai and updated him on his meetings in Syria. According to reports Carter said Hamas would agree to transfer Schalit to Egyptian custody as part of a prisoner release deal.Carter meets twice with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaál over the weekend as well as with Syrian President Bashar Assad, defying US and Israeli condemnation. President Carter got the peace prize too. You know Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize twelve days after taking office. Upon acceptance of winning it, Obama was praised by the committee, "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy". . They also gave the peace prize to Yasser Arafat, the leader of the PLO, the best known terrorist organization on the globe. This is like giving it to David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

I understand where u r coming from regarding the abuses of a dictatorship, yet one cannot turn a blind eye to the corruption of big business in politics such as the rigged 2000 & 2004 elections in the U.S.A. Another note, Israel is building the same sort of seperation wall in Jerusalem that Germany built in WWII that kept the Jews in poverty & a 950 meters long concrete wall & a floating barrier that will stretch from the northern Gaza Strip coast to the Mediterranean.
