You know, I am severe pain all day all night everyday from an accident and BECAUSE OF THE GOVERNMENT I CANNOT FIND A DOCTOR TO BELIEVE ME OR HELP ME !! You son does not need the governement to tell him not to get hooked on somehting he needs his own brain to do that.

THE GOVERNMENT is going to scare everyone into not being able to do anything. We are in a free nation and I am so sick of everyone thing the government is protecting you when they are controlling YOU !

The Government doesn't scare everyone, it's a reality. Pain clinic in Florida deliver tons of pills to anybody. Doctors are becoming dealers and they can give you all that you want for money. More and more people are becoming addicted to pain killers. So YES the Government have to control this "business" because painkillers is a drug and it's legal. We can't control it because some "Doctors" havn't an ounce of humanity and only seek profit at the expense of the lives of millions of people.

@WiseInfant I never blamed anyone for my son's addiction-except a 45yr old man who turned my then 18y/o son onto heroin. He's lucky he's in Cali somewhere-but as far as the numerous rehabs and unfortuanatley jail 2x's, I feel he's had more than enough support as I addressed it head on and I cn'dt stop him then. I blamed myself as any parent will at first and well go ahead and do that, but make sure u get ur kid help instead of finger pointing to the MOMS! addiction is a disease

@justaman6972 I partially agree w/you, but possibly you are not one w/an addictive personality? or maybe you are, but drugs are not your choice of addiction?I dn't think anyone wants to become an addict. I knw a FAT girl who used to mock my smoking-I told her we all hv our addictions--some TOO MUCH FOOD HENCE HEART ATTCK and so on. This is all so terrible, but ADDICTION IS A DISEASE right?Well it needs to be treated as such. Pill mills feeding the addict. hmm. REHAB not jail.

@justaman6972 It's a good point. If more people took these meds AS PRESCRIBED, they'd be fine. But sometimes they double up on the dose, they like the high, and it all starts up.
