DC show is not too far from you... Biggest show. Its in August... And yes, leave your credit cards at home :)
If you do go, let me know, stop by my tables. :)
Cheers!

@chatterleypens I'm in the US in Connecticut, and the Fountain Pen Hospital isn't too far away if I wanted to test one out. I've been meaning to take a trip there one of these days, but I'm afraid I might spend all my money!

I guess you can compare it to rose gold, Its more rose gold than yellow, but its really just bronze colored if that makes sense...
Very cool pen though... You should go to a show to see it in person... Where are you?
Shows all over, at least in the US...

@chatterleypens Really? The Fahrney's catalog said it's bronze but has "rose gold color". But actually, I didn't mean the HS looks bad from what I've seen--it's a beautiful pen and if it really has a rose gold color, it's not overwhelming. Some of the other rose gold pens have too much of it for my taste.
Thanks for the clarification, I haven't actually seen one up close.

Hi,
This pen is actually made from solid bronze. This is why it might look coppery to you... Its a pretty cool pen. Made from Lava and Bronze, with a 23 K Palladium nib...
Cheers!

Looks like a very nice pen, but I'm not sure how I feel about the current rose gold trend. Some of the trims look too coppery for my taste. The HS seems like it writes very nicely, though, and thanks for posting the vid.

I would not call it flex, it does have some give, but not flex... This is a standard nib.
Cheers!

Please, I wanna know if all Visconti H.S. have a flex (or semi-flex) nib? Is it a standard one or a custom nib? I'm thinking about order one because I like the fineshes and its Vacuum Fill System!! Nice video, great strokes and amazing handwritting. Thanks for posting! Best rgards,
Fabricio
i am deciding between fine or extra fine nib. Do you think the extra fine nib gets scratchy?

@mrwsxzaq12 No, its not. It will have more tooth than the fine, but thats pretty standard. The less iridium that is contact with the paper, so the smaller the nib, the more tooth you will have. My experience is that its still pretty smooth.
Ciao!
