High speed recording of making a HATV rocketnozzle on a big lathe. Copenhagen Suborbitals 17/1-2012 Camera Speed 300 fps. Lathe: Hasse & Wrede - Berlin 1940 RPM: 244 Shaving: 10mm
So this is a German lathe, constructed in 1940. This means it might have produced parts for the German war industry in the second world war, conceivably (though not likely) even parts for the A4/V2 rocket. And now it's producing parts for a peaceful rocket. A great example of 'swords into plowshares'!
Other that that, nearly everything is cool in slow motion ;-)
