Hacking LG Rumor Rumour LG260 Virgin Mobile Part 2-2(final) of 4-2

This is video tutorial on how to 'hack' the LG Rumor/Rumour.
Part1- The first part is for showing the codes you can do, without using the USB cable
Part2- Hooking it up to BitPim
Part3- Hooking it up to BitPim Again
Part4- Summing Everything Up

I've noticed there isn't a lot tutorials out there for the LG Rumor with Virgin Mobile Provider here in Canada. These videos hopefully come in handy for those people because I know when I first started customizing my phone, I could find very little info out there.

I do not claim to be a professional, as with everything, there is a chance, you might ruin your phone so do be cautious and proceed at your own risk.

like your video by they way umm can you put a video on hacking in to the phone to get the spc "subsidy code" because i want to change my esn but i need the spc to do that . " virgin blocked the esn on the phone

It goes beyond these tutorials sorry. As far as I know with Virgin-CDMA phones, the code can only be obtain from the provider (as far as I know)

I guess you can try calling them and saying that you need the code to complete the activation of the phone or something on that line. (just be persistent and keep trying)

'normal' users would never need to change their ESN (basically, the identity of the phone and how it's found on the network). Good Luck to you though. Hope this helps a bit.
