@violetcloud The people taking photos ruined the performance for maybe $250 tops worth of audience members. LuPone's childish hissy fit ruined the performance for the remaining $500,000 dollars worth. Not a savvy career move. Since 'Gypsy' closed she hasn't done any mainstream musical-theatre work for a reputable producer, just her own solo work; after this outburst it's not hard to understand why.
I guess "The Show Must Go On" is a forgotten concept. I don't blame her for being mad, but come on, don't ruin it for the rest of the audience, or at the very least be tactful.
