The male Frigatebird inflates a huge red pouch that drives the females wild with desire; a clip from "Gringo in the Galapagos", the Intrepid Berkeley Explorer's free video featuring Ecuador's Highlands, the Jungle, and then out to the Galapagos Islands for personal visits with animals of many kinds that are not scared of humans.

Galapagos is a marvel of evolution . I have been once and have vacationed many places, but Galapagos was more than a vacation...it was an experience that cant be described.
Its like stepping back in time. I recommend you do 14 days just to see as much as you can above sea and below.

This is courtship. Males have the red pouch, and it certainly attracts the females.
