@objectivefreedom As for the young men and women who die to free others from tyranny, as the soldiers for democracy, it`s their job to protect the weak, to protect those who can`t defend themselves. Just because those they work to save aren`t Americans doesn`t mean that they aren`t worth saving. Your way of thinking is what led to the rise of dictators, WW2 and other terrible tragedies.....

@objectivefreedom About the A-Bomb droppings, they were tragic but the alternative was a costly invasion of Japan where tens of millions more people would've died so the less bloody option was picked with the word less being a relative term. About the Africans, even if we did go in, nothing would change and besides, we're too tied up with the Middle East at the moment.

@objectivefreedom Just because we can't save everyone in the world doesn't mean that we should save no one. We need to take whatever opportunities we can get to save innocent lives and in the Cold War, the Americans couldn't invade Russia and China because they were too strong so they had to settle for doing more covert ways to undermine them.

@girlgarde What about Stalin and Mao? USSR and China? 100 million people died under their rule and what did the United States do about it? What realistically could the U.S. do about it? What about Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Was it okay to drop nukes on those civilians? Or the Africans "brutally murdered by dictators" today? Or the young men in uniform who die in the process of trying to save those lives? Where do you draw the line? By what principle do you choose who lives and who dies?

@tolerantrobbob He`s an isolationist America first-type politician, the sort that wants to have the U.S become isolated and let the world burn all around it like in the 1930`s and in WW2 right up until Pearl Harbor. It`s people like him that would have Americans sit on their hands and let tens of millions of people be brutally murdered by dictators and terrorists in order not to be troubled with the world`s problems.

MINISTRY OF PEACE continues on a perpetual war with no purpose.
Socialism (especially the Ingsoc of the U.S., the Jackass party) sounds like a load of contradictive shit to me.
