  • What was the temp. on that day?

  • @PurpleHeartVeteran Mid 80's

  • wow i lived here for most of my life and ive always wondered about that house, your video is full of a lot of interesting stuff, i heard its worth like 3.6 or 6.3 billion dollars but if anyone bought it they would have to destroy it because the building codes werent enforced as they are today or maybe cuz it takes fire trucks and police to get up there, correct me if im wrong but its a very cool video

  • @black60459 - It was listed for 1.2 million four years ago, but that's a stretch especially in this economy and what it would take to renovate or build on the property. Keep in mind that the house sits on about 20 acres of land too. That's a lot of land in the middle of a lot of development. The big problem is much of the land is granite hills, which is a little tough to build on.

  • @bendar13

    Seriously?

they arent doing anything with it...

so tell the owner to stuff it.

  • see all that tagging inside? he panned past it real fast!lol

  • @javasdarlin I completely forgot about those horse stables. I rode with them when they would rent out trail rides. Wow! thanks for the memory.

  • The "current" owner should do a better job of securing it. With that being said, I thank Dan for making the video. What the current owner may not understand is that house is apart of our history too. Though some of us can not afford to purchase it, it DEFINATELY means something to us and we are just as devistated at its ruins. It makes us sad. I wish for someone to purchase it and restore it to what it was "back in the day".

  • Apple valley rules suck it LA

  • I gonna go up there soon

  • I was always so curious about where more of the house is. Is it below the main room?

  • Now every time we drive by I'll look at that house differently :)

  • Thanks for the interesting facts on the apple valley hilltop house!

  • @bendar13 Apologies for my trespass, but I felt it necessary to make the videos in light of the destruction as well as the historical significance of the location. If the owner is concerned about the nature hikers, perhaps they can make an effort to secure the property or selling it. Frankly, it doesn't look like they're trying at all. Also, my videos may actually draw someone out to purchase the property.
