There are the usual two nAgaswaram players, but unusually, three thavil players. The little boy with the brass cymbals keeps time. Note the coins strung together under the nAgaswaram; these could be coins gifted to the players by patrons. Also, see the number of mouthpieces each nAgaswaram has. nAgaswaram playing takes enormous lung power...and playing the thavil requires great stamina, too.
