    So the human genome is like the greatest example of what not to do when coding computer programs? Lots of vestigial unused functions, spaghetti code, undocumented features, and no comments? Awesome, I don't feel so bad anymore.

    sometimes our body actually gets the "go" to grow a tail or gills - all of us had those in uteri; but normally the fetus loses them again as it grows.. but sometimes we're stuck with those things [e.g. vestigial tails]; maybe you want to mention that in the description?
