    Glad to hear that there were many US viewers just right across the border who got the show on rabbit ears.  Mr. Dressup was a lot more popular and known than the CBC has recorded for its ratings.

    I used to watch this show on Windsor 9, from my hometown in Detroit. Also loved the Polka Dot Door. He had everything in that chest. Lol

    Oh my God, the memories are rushing back. I loved this show as a kid, and I was heartbroken when Ernie Coombs died back in 2001.
