  • This video was filmed in Japan, not North Korea.

The Air Koryo (North Korean airline) plane lands behind a Japan Airlines plane at 1:02, the airport interior at 1:08 has signs in English and Japanese, and at 1:14 a sign in the background says in English, "Nagasaki line since 1990".

Also, when we see close-ups of the audience, none of them are wearing the Kim Il Sung badge worn by all North Koreans.

The Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble toured Japan in 1991, perhaps it was filmed then.

  • @U239 well spotted!

  • @TheComputerH in Cyrillic (written Russian and various other languages) C = S, P = R

Therefore CCCP is SSSR, meaning Сою́з Сове́тских Социалисти́ческих Респу́блик (Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik)

CSSR would the Czechoslovak Soviet Socialist Republic.

  • Apparently even communism wasn't strong enough to beat the 80s

  • Apparently north koreans think it's a good idea to pan the lead vocal completely right.

  • @McBeaver00 OMG im so confused UGHHH!! :(

  • @TheComputerH

No, the last part was supposed to be.. ironic.

  • @McBeaver00 its still not ironic to me...but i understand why you would think so...oh was that last part supposed to be mean or no? wait are you korean?

  • @TheComputerH

Famous song nation-wide meaning "glad to meet you" in the most reclusive and resentful nation in the world. Seems sort of ironic to me. But then what isn't ironic about the great and powerful nation of North Korea?

  • @zvast oh wait Soviet Russia? lol i just comprehended that CCCP = CSSR because the C=S? and P=R uhh i dont understand first C though..

  • @zvast whats that?
