His stories are made up. The Taliban wasn't in Pakistan in 1996. He lied about being kidnapped, not once but twice. Daniel Pearl was beheaded, Nick Berg was beheaded...they were kidnapped by the Taliban, this guy is a JOKE!

A great shame.. he is a great man and his work is good too.. so why lie about it?? some people always seem to want to decorate the truth.

His stories aren't made up, he just needs to do a better job with the accounting that's all.

@duanewilkins He could do that by being completely transparent with his financial accountability records for CAI. Personally I find it odd that CAI doesn't put their financial accountability records online(something that most non-profits do). At worst he's fabricated stories- at best he's most likely exaggerated events... either way he's diminished the good he's done by being dishonest to the public.
