Built on plans by Cody Deegan. Stabilized in post with final cut studio's smoothcam.

Total weight of the rig with camera was around 45 pounds.

  • Hey there, I'm looking into building a Cody Deegan rig myself, and was wondering what the price range was to build it? Also, was the jump at 0:11 - 0:12 in the original footage, or a result of post work? Thanks.

  • @TheYou0Tuber Yes that was all in Final Cut's stabilizer. I've since got the rig fully balanced without much trouble and adjusted the weight so it doesn't even need post correction.

  • Nice!

Good job. Could you tell me what camcorder did you use on this footage?

Our Cody Deegan steadicam is in production, so I really interested.

  • @tilla18hun I used a JVC HD200U. No color correction or anything. Just stabilization.
