T.S. Wiley claims that women are reporting positive benefits from the Wiley Protocol. She doesn't mention all those who haven't.

@tikitwotiki progesterone build up?? when we are drowning in a sea of estrogen.. please explain!!

Anne, that protocol was a nightmare for me. Get off the Wiley regimen before the huge progesterone build-up does permanent damage. Several women have needed surgery or had terrible depressive episodes.

bazaar excerpt from this video, "The fact that you had phantom nipple pain is a beautiful thing. It means your brain is intact" this is supposed to be a support group. I think the woman's brain is obviously intact...but I am not sure about Wiley's.

Now I find the Wiley appears (in these videos) to be nothing more than a nutball. Don't get me wrong...I usually HATE the established medical profession. I have studied nutrition fairly extensively. I studied herbs and have treated myself successfully for operable endometriosis with herbs alone. But, the mood swings that I was getting from being peri-menopausal were unbearable, so I decided to try hormones.

I looked at the doses on my envelopes and was shocked to discover that on the days I was experiencing the most severe symptoms (bladder infections, depression, anxiety, sleep problems) I was taking 8 - 12 TIMES the usual recommended dosage of progesterone!! WTF?!!
AnneSB77 3 years ago
Well, personally, I am going to keep these Wiley creams and adjust the dosage based on other recommendations I am reading ('Natural Hormone Balance for Women by Reiss'). I am going to try that out, subscribe to RhythmicLiving yahoo group and figure it out for myself. Wiley is obviously experimenting on women, but I am not sure why.

hum...I have been on Wiley for about 8 months now. I have had a variety of issues since month 2 when I upp'd the progesterone dose to NOT EVEN the prescribed dose. I started out getting bladder infections around day 17, 18. This happened for 3 months in a row. Not pleasant. Now, I am suffering from low moods and depression when starting the progesterone portion of the cycle.
