the part in the beginning when they stomp their feet, clap their hands, and spin is VERY similar to a Slovenian dance, both the music and dance, but its still good, but Slovenian dancing is better, just sayin.......

This version of a dance known in whole Western Europe comes from the Burgenland in Austria and names itself "Vogelstiehl". The polka part is danced very fast and not as adipositas patients !!!

I find the Germans and their folk dances to be wonderful. Glad to see people carrying on the traditions.
