That's the reason why i stopped collecting batman in 2000. Unnecessary crossovers. I only collected batman. I didn't want detective.

On the last part of your rant, the reason they do multi-title cross overs, is to try and get readers to buy more books. It is an artificial bump in sales. So if you regularly only read Batman and Detective Comics, they use a multi-title cross over to get you to pick up Batgirl or Robin books. It sucks, but it is purely a business move. I do miss the days when plots were contained in a single issue or a single title. But in the end it is a book selling business.

you know i going have to agree with you in this video. i am more forgiveing of dc than marvel however i am more disappointed in dc than marvel right now

I only read in trades (my comic store shut down a year back and the next closest one is 45 mins to an hour away) So I really haven't had to deal with all the Final Crisis stuff.
