  • Love the Natchez's calliope, the whistles are in nearly perfect harmony.

  • About as close as you can get with 70 pounds of steam!

  • I remember when I saw and heard the steam calliope the first time. It was part of a parade, I loved it! I kept asking my parents to take me places that had them so I could listen and watch them blow steam clouds at the same time! But then all calliopes I saw from that day on were those electric/pneumatic "knock-offs" and my interest gradually faded. Now thanks to youtube, I'm hooked again at age 23!

  • It saounds like "Lightly row"

  • Abney Park needs to get one of these.

  • Yup, beats the air calliopes on the diesel riverboats. Steam gives it a much better resonation.

  • I like when you hit a 7 note cord, and the thing dose flat due to the loss of steam head, too cool

  • Good Show Keith!!
