Magic The Gathering M10 Draft #1 Match 3 Game 1

I made the finals and played a mono-black control deck. Here is game one. He didn't draw enough removal and I killed him with a 5/2 Fiery Hellhound.

The firebreathing dog is my new underrated creature. He's a great clock if you have a lot of removal. He plays defense well versus other ground creatures including big green fatties. He's not a bad topdeck late in the game because you'll probably have a lot of mountains at that point. So, try him out if you're playing a deck with at least 9 Mountains.

Nice one. I don't think the Pyroclasm was that bad a play. Dread Warlock can totally dominate some games and You already got a lot of value from the Looter. You really don't want to get into Consume Spirit range.
