@GregorRichards Thank you very much! I actually made a really cheap one today, too, with some paper, tape, a funnel, a bottle cap and a straw. It sounded like a vuvuzela. Not so sure that's gonna convince the judges of a nice sound :P

i have a question: do you make the sounds with your actual voice or do you just blow into the bazooka and adjust the...funnel thingy. lol
i'm doing a science olympiad event involving the making of a wind instrument and honestly my mind is running dry. the bazooka looks like an awesome instrument, to play, though :D

@sum1frmsumware The bazooka is a lip-buzzing instrument, like trumpets, horns, etc. Essentially you buzz your lips in resonance with the pipe, and that creates a sound. As such, adjusting the length will change what resonances you can hit. That being said, these are very cheap bazookas, and bazookas are very silly instruments, so it's not really that pure, and you could probably convince it to hit dozens of (poorly-sounding) notes in any position.
