kenny florian wouldn't stand 10 seconds with ken shamrock. and kimbo was only good against some backwards bayou hillbillies. he got kicked outta the ufc cause he sucked as an mma fighter. what florian probably doesn't understand, cause i doubt hes ever been in a single bare knuckle fight, is scar tissue building over your eyes and brow can split up at the slightest hit or elbow. just ask wanderlei silva why his eyebrows bleed in every fight, yet another bare knuckle brawler

the original UFC was a sideshow, like midget wrestling. it was not a real sport and was too hardcore to be sanctioned or accepted by any mass audience.
I loved it too, but it was just glorified street fighting.
