One music critic once said that BWV 582 fugue is probably the greatest of them all but the humankind is too immature to realize that. When he was asked what was so special about that particular fugue he responded: "It must be very special. After all it has the great Passacaglia as a prelude".

I tried to play this and although I managed the Passacagia, the Fugue defeated me.
I am never ceased to be amazed by this piece, and in all Bachs music we have to listen over and over and over again to hear everything that is going on. It is only when you play his music you fully realise just what a genius the man was
