    I feel the need to straighten this out.

    Modern Åsatruars believe in Ragnarok, Odalheim scenes after the great battle, this cover makes perfect sense if you believe mankind will destroy themselves in the war, like many modern Åsatruars believe. Just because the belief is old, doesn't mean the whole setting has to be ancient...

    And if you don't know what Åsatru is, it is the old Norse belief. Do some research on it.

    I think that they changed a little bit with the Black Metal influence in the sounds and in the lyrics but nowadays the sound is much similar than other styles, in fact many Death Metal bands approach their sounds with the Black Metal and vice versa.

    in fact, I also think this is kind of "blackened death metal" . I must say that i've just known this band so i can't tell what they did in the past, but what i'm listening to right now is not pure death metal... has lot of black.
