The week of July 21st, 11 high school girls wearing pink hard hats took over the 5 day pre-apprenticeship classroom and shop area at the Carpenter's Joint Apprenticeship Program Training Center. Many of the apprentices in school that week were a little curious, some asked questions and others, bolder, asked if they could have a pink hard hat too. The girls had a great week; all of them wishing camp were longer.
