Capuchin Monkey Tessa

In Gainesville, Florida, at the Jungle Friends Sanctuary, lives young capuchin monkey Tessa. She has diabetes and therefore needs extra special care. Wildlife nanny Ashlei Martin enjoys taking care of her little patient and today treats Tessa with some sweet green tea.
She also tries to teach her some important monkey skills Tessa loves nuts but never learned to open them by herself because she did not grow up in the wild. But Ashlei is a great teacher and Tessa will soon know how to do it on her own. Until then, she is just going to have to rely on her nanny to prepare her some delicious meals.
Although still a youngster and a bit ill, Tessa proves to be in great shape and wont stop flirting with our camera crew.
Today, Tessa will be released to another habitat to join some of the other monkeys from the sanctuary. Lets see how she will get along with them
