once i heard cut open i got scared because the same thing is happening with me. im 14 and still have baby teeth so they are gonna have to pull them out.so i will be going to hgh school with missing teeth.how fun. im going to have to get surgery because one of my teeth never came in so they are going to have to slide all of my teeth down so the tooth will come out. hopefully.

i have the same problem i have two baby teeth and they wont come out on there own so i need to get oral surgery and im really neavous about what there going to do i have a consultation with them on aug.17 so very nervous!!

~well one of my teeth came out and it had no replacement and they might try and give me a stupid veneer which is a fake tooth>!~

Sorry its a bit too late! :P BUT.. i had a gap where there was just wire and it kinda cut a groove into my gum, eventually it healed up and it kinda became tough and wasnt affected by it rubbing, had my braces off since febuary and its still there but it doesnt hurt at all :)

Wow! Same here! I've never met anyone else that had to have their canine teeth pulled down with chains except for me. I had braces for 5 years. I think I might have to get braces again though, since I don't think they aligned my teeth right the first time. I've had my braces off for 2 years, I wear my retainer, and my teeth move a lot even during the day. :(

Good luck. Make sure they get your teeth right the frist time. :)

oh my gosh! ive never heard of anyone else having to get the chains on their canine teeth like i did! thank god hahah! it really isnt as bad as it seems is it? it hurts at first when they tighten the rubberband to pull on it but my teeth are finally out almost a year later and i'm so happy i did it!!!!

Spacers hurt for about 3-4days

I got mine thursday and today is the first day the kinda stopped hurting thank god

anddd i get them out on tuesday and get my braces put on. ^^

i'm actually excited.

omg i had to had that tooth gum ripped open surgey its horrible aint it hope your ok.. is your chair attacthed yet? mine is :( it aint very nice x

i have a wire digging into my gums and its a deep slice & ive had it for a while & i was aslso wondering about what to do 'cuz wax doesn't stay
