Lubuntu Natty Narwhal Alpha 2 Review with new Ozone theme

After a slight delay here we have the unofficial Lightweight version of Ubuntu called Lubuntu, which is ideal for older low memory machines. Lubuntu uses Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment (LXDE) and comes with a selection of lightweight programs including Abiword, Gnumeric, and Chromium.

Main Changes since Lubuntu 10.10: Kernel upgraded to 2.6.38, new theme called Ozone, Cheese has been removed.

System installed in Virtualbox v4.02 using the graphical Ubiquity installer.
Recent updates to X.Org have prevented vbox guest additions from being installed, however its not so noticeable in Lubuntu.

Alpha 3 Scheduled to be released on 3rd March 2011

Does miranda run on linux? If yes then how come they are not using it instead of pidgin?

I always wondered why they don't use a lighter version of im program in those distros. Its supposed to be light and pidgin imho isn't. Miranda would be a far better choice....

Just like to point one thing out, you said it's damn quick considering it's only 1 cpu on the virtualbox.. It's well documented on thousands of posts that using more than 1 cpu on a virtual slows it right down.
