  • zone, you're a typical doomsday twit. If you'd pay more attention to the science and less attention to OH GOD THE WORLD IS GOING TO END, you'd have noticed that the documentary makes it painfully clear that the chance of a solar storm actually affecting our power lines is remote. The documetary presented the worst possible scenerio. Its possible mankind will never see a bad solar storm, and its possible we'll see dozens of them, but none that do too much damage. Either way, you're an idiot.

The great blackout of 1989 in Quebec was caused by solar storm... Rappidly repaired!

  • This brings back memories from the icestorm of 1998 in Quebec... I was out of electricity for over a month.

  • can they bring in power not in tower but under ground

  • I really loved this icestorm in 1998. I was a kid and it was great fun, with fireplaces and marshmallows. this programm is too dramatic, nobody was effraid, it was fun, we're used to this

  • @zonezonezone123456 Yeah those solar storms ain't no joke.

  • I wish shows like this and Seconds From Disaster would release their soundtracks. I would pay just to get clean versions of the awesome music they use.

  • thank god i live in texsas no snow there

  • What is an "Ice Stom?"

  • When a person is maybe a victim of hypothermia, warm them with your body heat. Put them in a sleeping bag, a duvy or quilt on top and get in with them. You need to warm their core to save them. Extremities are expendable.
