They can't have the real international jerseys because they have to spend enough money on getting NHL jerseys and other leagues let alone international.

Honestly, I think the reason why no one added EVERY jersey for all the teams is because there's too many. They'd have to code in every jersey style from all 30 teams and the defunct teams they evolved from? Toronto alone has too many to count (Or maybe that's just Toronto and Montreal...) Anyway, some of them (like the early Phoenix jerseys) are ugly as sin. If you have too many jerseys, some wouldn't get used and it'd be pointless to have hundreds of jerseys if you'd just use one or two styles.

Because it's hockey. Nobody would want to be a ref. It's called NHL not NHL "BE A REF" game. National League Hockey!!!!! It would be extremely boring and wouldn't be much of a mode. Hench *have a think about that*....
