  • Oh crykee I thought I would known alls songs from Sandy, but this one I had no idea, please tell me from wich album is the song, thanks

  • @Guitarity It's on the 2005 Island Records re-issue edition of "Rendezvous". The song is originally be Little Feat.

  • return visit (listen) a few days after first one

feat's original is w/o a doubt one of my favorite - most powerfully effecting -songs ever

at first listen to ms danny's take i found it a bit over 'produced' but now confess

to replaying it a dozen times since

and liking it more each time

t/y for the tube (youtube the bottomless well of cool stuff)

  • @JustAintthatWay This entire album "Rendezvous" is often commented on as over-produced. Many believe it's because Sandy's voice was no longer at its best, and they put in a lot of backing to try to cover it.

  • @spasticinbondage Umm... this is Sandy Denny, not Stevie Nicks...

And as far as I know, Stevie has never covered anything by Lowell or Little Feet.

  • great job sandy!! miss you and fairport this song will move you fuck yeah!

  • @krasnyploshad5 Where does {the wonderful} Fleetwood Mac come into it...?

  • Not taking anything away from Sandy but Little feat originals can not be touched by anyone. Lowell George was not from this world

  • i like it especially the slide and the take out solo high sax? and

of course ms denny could sing the phone book but

it's kinda tough to improve on perfection and the original

    reached it no?

  • Very funky version of this old Little Feat classic-one of their best songs-I miss you Lowell.
