As we were driving to our hunting location in Montana we saw this big 6x7 and decided to turn the truck around and shoot some footage!

  • its a 5x6 you dont count the eye guards....

  • @hewett1111

Well I'm from Minnesota so we normally would call it a 13 pointer. Theres many ways you can go on calling it how ever. For me, as long as the tine is an inch or longer I count it!

  • you would have to be dumb to pass up this mule deer

  • haha was this taken in colstrip it looks like it lol

  • @ttttedttt I'm form MT and very few people I know don't count eye gaurds. I'm with you, if you can put a ring on it, its a point. I think you should especially count eye guards for muleys, becuz many mule deer bucks dont have them.

  • @hewett1111 u don't but i would 6x7

  • Awesome Buck...with some true Muley character.

    Love those doubly split G2's

Excellent reason to pull over and get some footage...nice work.

    5/5

  • I am in Oregon, I have killed bigger bucks but not many! He would be ahrd to pass up, 'palmated' too... I guess right at 24 2/2wide... Not horibly tall though... about 150 b/c?

    BUT VERY TAISTY!

  • A montana guy, eh? Good. I am from Montana also. Will put a comment on your page.

  • When would you pass on him? Mid-season? Last day? I would probably take him, unless I know for sure I can get something bigger. Or do you have specific traits for each deer? I go for width, so I would probably pass on him opening day. But if were mid-season or last day, that deer is dead.
