Giant Robo OVA from the 90s is just so incredibly epic in the literal sense, and at the same time has a very unique creative flair to it. The plot is perfect, and compelling and everything about it makes my mind race with enthusiasm, passion, creativity and adrenaline. I don't think any other anime except Laputa Castle in the Sky has moved me and gotten me to love it as much as Giant Robo from the 90s has. and even still there both about equal. i don't think i can ever stop loving either one.

We're looking at the crown jewel, right here. I've watched a lot of mech anime (and believe me when I say A LOT) but this right here tops them all. Everything about it was flawless, over-the top, and incredibly well thought out, and to this day, it's still my favorite mech anime of all time.
