I just cried a bit. I had a cab-ride on Alycidon from KX to Finsbury Park, many moons ago, I have trodden those very walkways! You have brought back a veritable flood of memories. Thank you SO much Sir! We are not worthy.
Really, really nice, lovely montage and soundtrack. Great memories of the untouchable Deltics. Amazing to think that this weekend, almost 30 years after their withdrawal, we'll still be traversing network metals in setting sail for Perth behind Royal Scots Grey.
The real power of the Deltics has proved to be the power they have over so many of us, all these years on.
Great set of pictures. Lots of memories of those Great Engines. Think i may have been in the queue for Tulyar at the Deltic Farewell. Unfortunately Parka's were all the rage back then.....
