Hello, man. Thanks for asking, i'm not a bassonist but a flutist, and i love basson's sound. Let's try to make a comment, to increase musicality on your talented and very articulated job. Very sweet sound very dolce! Nice sound! after strong introduction. What if you try to make variations on attacks and accents at the very begining to phrase better yet! I guess the slow parts are very expressive! Congratulations!

The beginning is amazing! I love the contrast between the harsh piano and sweet bassoon :D

On the upside I like the brief spans where the use of space contrasted with the use of occupation, and the exploitation of the bassoon's capacity for mood. Mostly, however, the rhetoric of the piece lack an inventive contrast- the same unvaried spiritual affeckt without relief for long periods. The episodry was handled in such a way compositionally as to be respectable, but uninspiring. The playing is competent but not inspired- as the textures never real brand themselves upon my mind's eye.

I really like it. :) I just started like 2 months ago, I can't play anything like that, but I really like the sound of bassoon so it's a really nice piece.

you ROCK that bassoon !

Very nice job.

For me, it would be better if there is a short transition section, containing fast, continuous, chaotic, fizzing notes in very high register in the middle of the composition just between the low notes and the slow section, for making more contrasting features.

High level!! bravo!!
truly a very fine piece - and such a spirited performance (both piano and basson) - the tension / sympathy between the two makes for a great dialogue - the more one listens... the better it gets! thank you for posting!
