Canada's Shame Of Senselessly Destroying New Innocent Life

This is a video of the kind caring brave and compassionate souls of IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) explaining their experiences and efforts in the international collation to forever permanently end Canada's slaughter of baby harp seals and relegate it to the history books where it belongs.

The seals do not belong to Canada they are not 'product' or 'harvestable biomass' as the DFO (Destruction of Fisheries and Oceans) likes to tell us, and they are not a fur coat or a bloody welfare cheque for out of work east coast Canadian fisherman AKA (baby seal killers).

The seals are simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and are victims of a government and small minorities who have an unbreakable very stubborn attitude of pride tradition and politics and believe no other way is plausible or practical to provide money to the east coast Canadian fisherman in the fishing off season.

To some people the slaughter of Canada's baby seals may seem like 'a trivial issue' but to anyone with heart and soul and a moral conscious, it's nothing but a completely unnecessary, obscene, horrific, immoral, cruel, wasteful, unjustified, mad, senseless injustice all for a damn fur coat which is then sold and turned into one very bloody welfare cheque.

To spend millions of dollars to pay for the coast guard patrolling looking for poachers is, in most people's opinion, a waste of tax payer money and military skill. Yes its horrible, and your going to call me a heartless bastard, but there are more pressing matters, like poverty and a struggling healthcare system
