Casually dressed in a Black t-shirt and denim, Salman Khan arrived with his team of Wanted at the Dongri Remand Home in Mumbai on Monday to spend some time with the kids.

The actor who himself owns an NGO Being Human that helps deprived and orphan kids took time off from visiting reality and chat shows to lend a helping hand to the kids at the remand home.

Jhoonth bolo, chori karo aur remand home aao, phir badi chori karo aur jail jao, said Salman cheekily to the kids in his bhai style. Giving his own example Salman told the kids that he has been to the jail and it is the worst thing in life.

The actor, who has refrained from discussing his charity and social work publicly, donated a years food stock worth Rs. 25 lakhs to the remand home. Salman might be at the remand home, under full media glare promoting his film Wanted, but the actor in him took a back seat and Salmans compassionate side took charge as he lifted foodgrain sacks on his back and carried it inside the go-down.

Sans any starry air or attitude, Salman was at perfect ease interacting with the kids and urged kids to take studies seriously without sounding preachy, Though youll find it boring, it will help you in future to grow in life. And if you indulge in such negative things you will ruin your future, said Salman.

The hot hunks friendliness rubbed on to the kids who in turn danced and sang the popular track Love Me from Salmans Wanted to impress the star. Impressed he was and happy too, but his eyes soon shifted to the 3 - 4 years old kids at the remand home. Salman was stunned to learn that these little kids were those abandoned by parents or lost. He immediately called all such kids and made them speak to their parents in front of cameras. He appealed to people to support these kids.

Speaking about Salmans gesture, Wanted producer Boney Kapoor said, Salman initiated this meeting to lend his support to the kids. We should come forward and encourage these kids. I think its very commendable. We would like to help such organizations in future.

We are sure Salmans noble act will inspire many.
