These backdrops were a pain to fold until Gene Miller from Midwest Court Reporting in St Louis showed his easy technique for folding them. Even though it's a little grainy (cell phone camera) I think I was able to capture the basic points. Tell me what you think!

  • Very helpful!

  • Thank you for this video- it is the only one which has worked for me (and I have tried 7 others from YouTube). You have inspired me to make my own short to be uploaded a little later on :)

  • I can't tell you how helpful this was. After spending hours studying other videos and attempting unsuccessfully their solutions, I was seriously considering destroying my backdrop and calling it a day. I followed your instructions and everything fell into place first time. No offence intended to the original cameraman, but please consider having a better quality shoot of your technique uploaded - it's really worth it.

    Thanks a million,

    KW

  • Thank you thank you thank you! This is the best video I've seen so far on this - I now love my backdrop instead of hating it! lol

  • i was struggling untili saw this. i don't know what i did but it worked

  • Holy shit. Like everyone else on here, I just assumed this was a two person job. Only problem was, not even two of us could get it folded right. I watched your video one time and I'll be damned if it didn't work first try.

    You, sir, are a god.

  • THANK YOU! This worked for me.

  • You are a GENIUS. After 24 hours of wrestling my 7 x 9 chromakey background wanting to take a saw to it..you finally provided the ideal (and easy!) solve. Can't thank you enough!

  • OMG I have just spent the best part of an hour trying to fold my ******* background, it's sprung out again, hit me in the face, almost got my flat screen TV, decapitated the table lamp etc etc. Then I thought, I can't be the only one to have this problem, so I came to YT and there you were. You are a GOD ! Thank you so much.

  • I love you. No really. I've just spent 20 minutes trying to wrestle mine to the ground as if it were an angry dolphin but after watching this a couple of times, it folded up just fine.

    You, sir, are a star.
