Lana Inglis travels to Ethiopia to join the Afar tribe and is overwhelmed by the amount of cultural differences, whilst members of the tribe are fascinated by her different appearance and mannerisms. The biggest beauty in this documentary is about two totally different cultures meet each other. She had a courage to accept goat slaughtering in front of her eye when she hasn't seen it before, and she stated that that is natural. I think shes right and she did fine. She didn't get angry/argue with people when she heard woman in the tribe is getting beaten all the time. I think she is respectful. The tribe is very friendly and welcoming. Why are you all dissing this woman and the tribes?

she should've been very excited, goats are usually killed during big occasions. it means "you're highly welcome". they were disappointed by the odd reaction, you're on their land remember.

I'm a white guy originally from a more backwards part of europe - I can say that people over there don't give a shit about animals. When there's human suffering around you who cares about a dog. Westerners are cushioned from any hardship and so they can afford to care for animals

And about war, again, westerners are cushioned, they can watch some night vision shots on tv of a bomb going off without witnessing the consequences. It's disgusting how the media portrays wars as clean.
