Their first album was a mix of Black Metal and Irish Folk music. As time has gone by they have become much more Power Metal based. They do not have Death Metal vocals, but Black Metal vocals and sometimes their music sounds Punkish due to the up beat nature of some Irish Folk mixed in with their Metal influence.

Black Metal? you can't possibly be serious. Cruachan is more along the lines of folk metal with occasionally death metal vocals and sometimes music closer to punk.
