    Who cares if he's the next Andretti? The importance of this story is that he was presented with a barrier and found a way around it. Also, the techniques that he has had to master to drive with that control setup would be daunting for just about anyone. You are correct that money makes anything possible, but to actually DO them you must have talent and drive.

    I am a wheelchair user, and wanted to race (historic) cars. I did some test days, but we came up against the FIA regs that states that you have to be able to independently get out of a car (even upside down) and move away, in a specific (short) time. There was no way I could do that. How did Michael Johnson get around this issue? By the way, my times in a Porsche RSR, with hand controls were quicker than the actual owner's using the pedals...
