They aren't M777's they welded the hitch receiver on the barbell to tow them. I've only seen those on M777's.

If US wasn't by our side, if they don't exist, and we still maintain the military we have today, LOTS of people would invade us.

Thankfully, we have a huge deterrent to the south.

true, but if we had to defend ourselves, we wouldn't have the man power nor the capabilities to do so, and countries like USA, Russia and China would run us over, if they really wanted too. Sure we would resist, and eventually kick them out, but it would take a very long time and would cost a lot more lives than i care to think about.

no matter what happens, this army will develope a core of trained professionals. not many, but when a soldier is well trained, you dont need many. like us in Canada. we are the quiet busy beaver! if anyone bugs us we flap our big tail and hope they go away! if they touch us we put our inch long incisors through theyre arm and tear it off!! we dont like fighting, it pisses us off!

I hate to say this after 10 year of accomplishing this task you think it would be at 90 % complete.

I am afraid it just a money pit that accomplish nothing.
