@OtterAquafina Yes that's the American Dream but to become a citizen you need to be naturalized, not just hop the border and steal American jobs. I do admire the determination of illegal immigrants to get a better life in America, and the hard work that you say Americans wont do, but thats because so many americans have become so lazy and dont know what a hard day of work is.

@OtterAquafina Listen if the sneak in they don't have the right to get the same amount as a american.Get in line yes we could speed up the time it takes to get in.But it's not fair to rewared some one that breaks the law.and they are liveing with food stamps

toward enforcing the laws,the only prospective we need to lay on it, is our own,example Mexico's immigration laws are way tougher than ours and they do enforce them,yet no one bitches about them,so we gotta make a stand there and enforce ours too,there is no way around it

i cant speak for others only for myself and i would pick lettuce in the fields if there isnt any other job available to me within a reasonable timeframe,even with my IT education i have,cuz bills need to be payed,btw lets say those get payed $5 hr (which is below minimum i guess) times 23hr makes $115 a day (tax free i assume),so its decent money,but yes you actualy really have to work for it,which most dont want to do it seems

@Hoschi0913 and in response to point number 3, everyone who comes here (legal or not) for the most part is coming here for a better life (except for the drug cartels, and so on and so forth). Last of all, you are right we need to enforce our laws, but in doing so we have to look at it from all perspectives. I mostly agree with you I think, and my original message from before was my neutral perspective and I mean no offense either =)

All I was implying is that illegal immigrants would do the work at a typical american probably would never want to do in a million years. & do I believe the Mexican's deserve special treatment over others? No, absolutely not, but I do think we need to acknowledge that they work very hard regardless of what the job entails(e.g. someone like you and me for example wouldn't pick lettuce out in the fields of Salinas CA for 23 hrs a day for less than minimum wage pay
