The children in this video are all special needs orphans in Europe. Most of them are Russian, Ukrainian and Serbian, but this happens all over Europe. Once they reach a certain age and haven't been adopted, their orphanage doesn't want to deal with them anymore and sends them to a mental institution to be locked up in a crib their entire. life. The healthier ones, like Heidi and Easton, will maybe live to be 25. But the children like Edwin and Hanson... it'd be a miracle if they last one year. They can't get medical care in these mental institutions. Ellis will need his meds for HIV/AIDS. The mentally delayed children will fall farther and farther behind. There is literally no hope for these children... except you.
These children are ALL available for adoption through Reece's Rainbow Adoption Ministry. They specialize in special needs cases in Europe and Asia. Even if you are not in a position to adopt, you can still donate to help someone else adopt them. These children desperately need to be rescued by a family who loves them. Please, help these babies, before it's too late!

@Bellarose1994 To my knowledge, none of these children have passed, but it is evident that quite a few of them will not make it much longer in the mental institutions (like Edwin, Hanson). However, there is a section on the website for the children that have passed.

I feel awfull,I hope they find their forever families soon..I know a little girl who was part of Reece's rainbow just recently got her forever family even though she was already in an institution...hopefully families will come forward

In the interests of balance, I should point out that this disgraceful treatment of disabled infants and children is not European wide, but is mainly confined to the former Soviet bloc countries of eastern Europe and certain parts of Asia. While communism has mostly gone, the institutionalised lack of compassion and corruption nurtured under that system largely remains intact in most of those countries... and vulnerable little children suffer and die needlessly as a result. Shame!

Every child is a beautiful blessing with so much to offer. I work with children and youth with special needs and it amazes me everyday to see how much they know and what kind of joy they bring to our lives! I learn something so deep each and everytime I work with them. To have an organization like this that offers these children a second chance is amazing! I would love to do something to help them all out. God Bless them all <3
